EPT Barcelona: Martin Schleich wins (€850,000)

A big congratulations to the winner of the EPT Barcelona main event, Martin Schleich. Schleich, from Germany, came to the final table 5th in chips, and he battled his way all the way through. When play was down heads up, Schleich had a 2-1 chip lead and it didn't take long before he had defeated his final opponent, Dragan Kostic. For the win Schleich took home the first prize of €850,000 and also the biggest live poker tournament Spain has ever seen. Below are the final table results.

well played both Martin Schleich and Katchalov getting that 1st and third spots after starting low on chips in the final table and a bad day for Gomila, maybe he'll do better next time.

Congratulations to Martin, i actually did not have any history about this player but i'm sure this wasn't his first live poker experience lol

The first prize is really consistent if you ask me, i mean almost 900 k euros is well over a million dollars Big Smile

All in all EPT Barcelona was an really interesting EPT to watch.

It's incredible that it's over and it's a 5-a-side place and you get out of the championship and you're breaking the biggest award your country has ever seen in poker. It's a very gloomy job and it's difficult to be beaten for this great poker game. poker that will accomplish great things in his life
