Sahamies Wins Another $450k

Ilari Sahamies winning spree ain't over yet. On Monday, he played against Jeans89, Skjervoy, patpatman, barcode and other regulars. He won $90k playing $100/$200 PLO, $34k from a six-handed session of $50/$100 PLO, and about $324k from 2 three hour sessions at the $200/$400 PLO tables.

In total, Sahamies won $450,000 on Monday and is now up over $2.6 million in the past 7 days. Just a week ago he was down about $1.4 million, now he's up $1.25 million this year. According to highstakesdb, Sahamies is the second biggest winner at PokerStars with over $3.44 million won since they started tracking in 2010.

I think he would be up a lot more, i watched him a bit in the morning and he lost some couple of hundreds of $$$....
Maybe this time he will stop when he will start to lose again, if not he can lose all that he won in a single session.

Ilari Sahamies has proven himself over and over again as being one of the best players in the world. Just like a lot of us, his biggest enemy is himself. When he is on top of his game he can beat the best, but in a downswing he can play like the worst 2NL donk around!

@pochui - it would be nice, but I can't afford to play at high-stakes table... and if his abilities are really that low, so how he achieve over $2.6M profit in one week?

Guys like Sahamies must not even look to the values they achieve like we do. we tend to keep with our mouth open looking at the milliions, but they only think about the best way to keep the value growing. at least, that's the way it should be. That's why most of us many times say "if i had a million dollars i would never work anymore" but these poker stars, like Sahamies, work on poker like a real and hard job.
