The first day of the World Poker Tour Copenhagen Main event saw a field of 98 players and 56 of them made it through the day (7 levels of play). The chip leader at the end of Day 1a was Andre Petrovic, from Sweden, who managed to accumulate 220,400 chips and he led from start to finish. Day 1b begins in a few hours and, of course, a greater field of players is expected to show up today.
We will be back with another update tomorrow! Stay tuned!

Starting nice, but nothing to tell about it yet. The ame is just in the begining, and day 1b can bring the true leaders of the event. 98 players on the first day wasn't that much, but the number on the second day shouldn't be that different, although bigger, i would point it to 130 max.

No surprise here, this event attracted mainly nordic players and from what i understand the level of poker knowledge on the tables is really high...
I think there also wouldn't be any surprise if a nordic player will get the first place

Seems a nice event, but I don’t know if one can evaluate it as one of the easiest tourneys. By looking at names like Tony G, Daniel "Jungleman" Cates, Steve O'Dwyer and Kara Scott, just to mention some, things shouldn’t be that easy.

After Day 2 of the WPT Copenhagen, Frei Dilling Kjaer leads the field with 445,500 chips, but a few others are right behind him. All of the 45 remaining players have high hopes of claiming the $229,938 first-place prize which includes a $25,000 WPT Championship seat
