“Win and have fun”, the best ambitions anyone can ever have. How is it possible not to play online during two years? How did he handle with that? So many time. And he is helping charity, what an honorable activity. So many time away from the tables must have affected his game somehow, can’t believe he still got the same skill because practice also improves strategy. Will he now be easier to read? Let’s see how he plays at WSOP.

it's a big name in the world of poker for betfair to sign and can only improve that sites image to have a WSOP ME bracelet winner

player signings are often misleading, just a marketing strategy. dont let that decide your poker site.
look what happened to fulltilt(who had most of the big pros) and UB (phil hellmuth)

good points SuperNoob- big names doesn't guarantee good site at all- but yep it's a part of marketing strategy, and comparing full tilt and betfair is not exactly spot on- betfair is way more serious business where poker accounts for just a small part of revenues (even smaller part of profit i guess)

i understand what your saying supernoob Thumbs Up you could throw doyle's room in there along with countless others....poker sites try to make us think that if they have pro's playing there then it must be a credible site and we should go and play there too
it takes a lot more than pro's at a site to get me to play there Blink

I have no experience with betfair but from what i know they are also a bet company...

Frankly i think that great bonuses for members are more important than a sponsorship of a known player Blink

@SuperNoob, the truth is this way they will have a lot more free advertise and that will lead more players to go to Betfair.
