Red Spade Open is back this month with a $1 million guaranteed prize pool, of which the winner is guaranteed to take home at least $200,000. Apart from that there will be $100 bounties on all Team PokerStars Pro and Team Online players taking part.

The Red Spade Open tournament is taking place on Sunday, February 26 at 15:00 ET and the buy-in is $55. There are plenty of satellites up running already, so you don't to spend more than a few $/FPPs to take a shoot at the really big money. Also it's possible to buy a ticket for the tournament in the VIP Store. Depending on your VIP status, you can get a ticket for just 3,100 FPPs.

Pokerstars makes everyone dream about the possibility of getting rich just for playing cards during a few hours. Many would say “how can that be possible? I know how to play cards too”. Yes, that’s this this tourneys have so many players. Some know what they have to do to try go reach the nearest possible to the first prize, others are already dreaming with the supercar stopped next to their doors. Not going this time, but if I get some of this action when I am on vacation, I will give my contribution to pay this prizes.

let's think- sunday million $215 buy-in= 6 millions guaranteed, red spade open- $55 buy-in= only one mil guaranteed, there is clearly bigger value for the buck to play the sunday mil...(about 50% premium) so i guess the better option would be to go for the big fish (or at least take a few shot at the satellites)

well, yeah, Sunday Million is for sure the mother of all MTTs & the cornerstone of every tourney player, but it seems that this Red Spade thing (with the Pros elimination factor) will be boost the adrenaline... 55$ for a hunt of $200k 1st place... seems decent!

You better watch out ---> last time I won 6 tickets in VPP sattelites, each 55 T$ and 4 days later PokerStars just "deducted" / like they say/ the money from my account saying it was a software misteake, I wake up - switch on Lobby and there is 275 $ less at my Casher, than 6 hours before.

great tournament to play, too bad I can not this year, but finally we're getting off to become a pro, only to be fantastic live poker, I think a privilege for everyone who has this chance, still got it

I wish I could find some money to play in this tournament, would be sweet. But for an amateur player like it is just not worth spending 55 bucks and be swooped away before any in-the-money-action. But I will be observing and ontinue dreaming, as Fakiry says, about getting rich someday....

ya, good tournament; if you want money you must invest. Money make money for the moment, in most of the situations.

I feel like a winner...didn't play, so I can keep my 55$ /buyin/....normaly I would lose it after 4-5 hours of playing with AA or KK at my hand.
