Day 3 of EPT Campione main event saw a field of 99 players. The plan was to play down to 24 players in six levels and call it a day, but the tournament directors decided to to let the action continue a bit into level 7 and then stopped with 24 players. It was a very long day and most of the players probably went straight to bed for some well-needed sleep.
Even though quite a few big names were sent packing during Day 3, there are three familiar faces left: Olivier Busquet in 7th place with 973,000, David Vamplew in 11th place with 747,000, and last but not least... Ronny Kaiser in the very bottom of the field with 169,000. But Day 4 won't be anything like a walk in the park for any of them as there are many experienced players left - most of them with bigger stacks as well.
Prizes
All the remaining players are now guaranteed to get at last €15,000 each. The 9 players who survive Day 4 will be guaranteed €41,000 each. The winner of the tournament will take home amazing €640,000.
