WPT Vienna: Another big win for Denmark!

After 6 days of pulsating poker, the World Poker Tour Vienna Main Event finally got a winner, Morten Christensen (online qualifier) from Denmark. For the win he was awarded with €313,390 and a seat in the WPT final.

Christensen is the 4th Dane, in just a few short months, to take down a major European title this year, following in the footsteps of Frederik Jensen (EPT Madrid), Mickey Petersen (EPT Copenhagen) and most recent winner Jannick Wrang (EPT Campione)

Denmark, the land of new poker promises! I think that, from now on, I will pay more attention to the Dane opponents I have at my tables. Of course I am talking about completely different levels, but I think I will feel much happier each time I win a hand to a Dane! I can start to consider it a victory!

Congratulations to Morten Christensen, he deserves to be the champion of the tournament, he is a great tournament poker player and he does his country proud by winning this tournament.
