There are some insane cash games going on in Macau in China at the moment, with some of the best players in the world! According to a poker news site that follows the action in Macau on daily basis, Tom "durrrr" Dwan took home a pot of almost $4 million dollars during the ongoing Macau Big Game.
The blinds on some tables where "durrrr" has been playing have been as much as $30,000 / $60,000 Hong Kong Dollars, but the enormous pot was played on a table with $10,000 / $20,000 HKD blinds. According to news site in question, Tom Dwan had AT vs A2 on the flop AT2 when the money went in. The pot was almost $30,000,000 HKD, which is about $3,8 million dollars!

| well this is what actually call a huge pot- 4 million dollars in one minute is very profitable minute...to be fair gambling has always been the place where you can easily spend all of your fortune- even bill gates if he was tempted into gabling could easily get rid of his billions...after all process is the same, just a few more zeros at the account differs |

I think this was the second news of a huge pot that Tom Dwan won in the Macau cash games, i remember a similar news was last year...
Even on Tom's level i think it's pretty risky to involve in such huge pots. Macau is definately an interesting place |

| Some guys have far to much money at their hands. The games in Macau show where nowadays the real money is made. And this is no longer the western world. |

| Lots of cash, and he wasn't even nuts after seeing the flop, his opponent may have had aces in the hand. There's a lot of crazy action going in Macau, so after, Vegas, this is the right place to be when you want to play high! |

Never went to look more info about durrr’s beginning of career, but most of them already started a bit higher, I mean, already betting those amounts ($3.8) instead of trying to win them, but we all must agree that it must be much more delightful when one knows he started from the ground and reached top just with his effort.

I love Town Dwan. He now and then makes real myrical desisions. That pot of 3,8 million dollars is really a ridiculous amount of money. |

| Any chance of a small loan dwan? |
| kwasac | 5/23/2012 4:30:55 PM GMT |
| That guy with A2 was probably some businessman with a couple biliards on bank account... xD Cmon, all in with A2?...? |
| 39andyac | 5/23/2012 7:12:15 PM GMT |
| kwasac, double pair on the flop. I think many players would go all in. first of all to avoid that the other one gets the chance to hit something when the raise isn't enough |

The avergae hand to win a pot is two pair or better.
It's not a good play EVER. The fcat it was against Dwan probably meant they thought they must have the best hand due to his loose play.
Seriously, 3.9m with top/low two pair? Ridiculous - emotions and blood racing will do that I guess - or stupidity.
Dwan could have had a set of tens, aces, even twos perhaps.A 10 isn't exactly unthinkable either lol. |

Mine too, I think he is one of the best players out there on time.
Especially as he plays the hand is phenomenal.
I hope I can do it sometimes to play against him |

Macau is just insane. I'm no sure, but I think they have about 3 times more revenue than vegas. Cash cow for pro gamblers. Why it'snot televised yet? |
