Sam Trickett robbed at the World Series of Poker

Apparently the high-stakes profile Sam Trickett was robbed at the 2012 WSOP on Wednesday this week. Now you might think that he was pickpocked by a stranger on the street or something like that, but that is not the case. Sam Trickett twittered the following about the incident.

There are already some people speculating about the identity of the "well-known pro". However, we won't post any of that here as it might drag an innocent man or women's identity through the mud. In other words, we will wait and see if Trickett writes it himself.

Dam lol.

Could be a windup?

If it's not thats so messed up just shows that even fellow pros are capable of stooping really low.

Poker players are deceptive by nature usually - these things aren't surpassing

Someone that he thought it was his friend? Is there a chance for this post to be related with something that has occurred on the tables between the two and he decided to describe it like this on the net? Sometimes we write things that gives the possibility for others to misunderstand the message. For instance, if Tom Dwan tweets “Come on, Patrick Antonius, stop calling me all the time!”, he may be referring to the game and the fact of Patrick Antonius strategy against him being a calling station basis. Robbing Sam Trickett is something serious that can end in big trouble to whoever did it.

if a fellow pro and supposed "friend" can do this what is the poker world coming to. if this happens to be true i would expose him even if he did give it back. the poker world should totally shun this thief and ban him/her from all future tournaments

I think the title of the news make you think that someone stole from his hotel room or street the money...

I think he just lend some money to a poker pro "friend" and that guy never paid him back. I wonder who is this "pro"?

What's the truth? Did he loan someone some cash and hasn't received it back per an agreement or did he actually get robbed? I would like to believe there's no straightup thief out there, but who's to say. Guess we'll never know if he gets his cash.
