I reckon he'll be good - seems like such a promo thing though. PS trying to get their brand into Europe more and also to people that wouldn't necessarily play poker.

Clever.

It’s obviously a promo, but i bet PS trained Nadal to play to see if he can do nice in some events. If that happens, it will be even better for PS. As for Nadal, the it will always be good if he manages to win, that way he will be really calliing other type of public to possibly create new acounts at PS. And those who usually go to the tennis courts to watch some games usually have nice stacked wallets, so it can be a good be by PS.

I'm just not sure when will he find a time to play, considering the ATP season and his training...
I just hope he doesn't neglect his tennis carrier.

I really think that pokerstars hit the jackpot with this sponsor contract if you ask me...

On the same time many people on forum say that they would rather want for pokerstars to use this money for user promotions. And frankly they have a point.

Well he's wounded right now (a knee injury I think, not sure), so I think he's gonna have time to play for a while Blink The way he plays tennis is hard on his joints, and tennis itself is a very tough sport for your body. He's now 28 years old and has been playing profesionally for about 10 years, so of course he already has to think about what he's gonna do when he retires from tennis. And I think he has the good mentality to win at poker, he just needs practice and knowledge. I wonder if he has good math skills though Big Smile

Being rich AND sponsored by pokerstars, tough life Dollar Blink

i think he's gonna make a good impression in poker, i mean he's already used to pressure from the numerous finals he's played at tennis
