The High Roller event ($10,000 buy-in) attracted a field of 111 players when it kicked off yesterday in the afternoon. Many players invested another €10,000 because it was possible to re-load one time, which made the total prize pool €1,087,800. In the picture you can see Dan Smith, the Super high Roller winner, capping his cards with a bundle of buy-in.

Now, Day 2 of the event is underway and 82 players still have a chance of taking home the first place prize of €359,000. Taylor Paur is the chip leader with 220,400. In the top of the field are also, for example, PokerStars Team Pros Jonathan Duhamel (140,100), Bertrand Grospellier (129,100) and Angel Guillen (123,700).

Elky is a beast in tourneys.

I'd hate to be at his table.

Could be interesting to see who takes this one down. Always surprised by how few americans enter these EPT events.

That's a bit weird mixing € and $ like that.. A $10K buyin even with 111 runners attracts a $1.1M prizepool + rebuy of $10K? or €10K? Not sure, it's written as € but that would be odd if the rebuy/addon was bigger than the original buyin.

At any rate, it's confusing when you jump from € to $ like that.. Just stick to one or write it out as both and as it is I am pretty sure it is erroneous anyway, since I am fairly sure its not gonna be a $10K buyin €10K addon.

Also; agreed - Elky is awesome Smile

For sure Jonathan Duhamel will win this poker tournament in my opinion, he is the best MTT poker player all-round.
