Running for $1 Million looks like a good catch, but spending time on step based tourneys to try to reach the top after five or six games, if starting with $1 buy-in, isn’t for anyone. A good way to call everyone to help paying for the prizes. What’s the best option? To go for a $1 regular tourney and win a prize in the end or going for this race whic, if fininshing in the top places, will give you a ticket to a second run, that may give you a second ticket to a third run and so on… Nobody said it would be easy to enter in a race for $1 Million.

Hmmm nice, another monster pot to be won.

Still, that entry is pretty dam steep. I'd only consider a satellite for sure - $600 = like £400, a months wages for me lol doing backbreaking work.

Anyone know the cost for the various satellites and how many steps to get a ticket?

You can get there for free.

There's a freeroll every day; top 10 (of about 600) get a ticket to the weekly "Autumn million special". I've won 3 of those already (played 2, got busted early in the first, reached 70 in the second).

The special pays the top 5 a $640 ticket to the main event; you're competing with about 800 opponents for it (no rebuys).

I think the main event pays the top 12? Not sure about that, I think I've seen it somewhere, but it's not on the site...

I also have a friend that just told me that he also won a ticket on those daily freerolls so it should be pretty interesting Smile

It's nice to see that party poker organizes such an event usually this kind of tournaments attracts a lot of new players and boost up the poker traffic.

Will also give it a try by the national freerolls.
As marqis said you have to place top ten in this first freeroll to get a ticket for the qualifier.
In this 5 ticket are awarded.
But till now I didn´t qualified for this one.

great to see such promotions- this time i will not be taking part in it, but i love the fact that party still haven't given up on it's poker business, considering the fact that poker is by far the weakest brand in it's portfolio based on financial performance- probably they believe they can revive the business
