A total of 375 participants entered the 2013 World Series of Poker Europe Main event for €10,450 each and created a €3.6 million prize pool. The player field has been narrowed down to 70 players over the past two days of play and Dominik Nitsche (504k) is the chip leader heading to Day 3.
Although Phil Ivey, Phil Hellmuth, Antonio Esfandiari and other big names fell during Day 2, there are still a few notables left in the mix of players including Ludovic Lacay (406k) who finished 2nd in Event #6: €3,250 Mixed Max Pot-Limit Omaha last Saturday, 2011 H.O.R.S.E Champion Fabrice Soulier (345k), German poker phenomenon Benny Spindler (345k), October Niner Jeremy Ausmus (219k), Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu (115k) and Faraz Jaka (39k) who has over $4 million in tournament winnings.
