The plan for Day 4 was to play down to 8 players from the 24 that started the day. However, only 8 players remained in less than four levels of play, so WSOP crew decided to continue until there were 6 players left instead, which took about 1 hour. Here are the 6 remaining players of the 2013 World Series of Poker Europe Main Event:
Seat 1: Benny Spindler - 1,748,000
Seat 2: Fabrice Soulier - 1,871,000
Seat 3: Dominik Nitsche - 2,354,000
Seat 4: Adrian Mateos - 3,781,000
Seat 5: Ravi Raghavan - 898,000
Seat 6: Jerome Huge - 637,000
As you can see above, Day 3 chip leader Danny Steinberg is no longer in the tournament. It seemed like Steinberg couldn't win a hand during Day 4. His stack got smaller and smaller and eventually he finished in 9th place for €59,500. This means that he busted deep in a WSOPE Main Event for a second time!
Now, the biggest stars amongst the remaining players are Benny Spindler from Germany and Fabrice Soulier from France. The two pros will have pretty decent stacks to work with at the final table and they are by far the most experienced ones of the 6 finalists. In other words, they both have great chances of winning the tournament and its €1,000,000 first place prize!
