PokerStars has launched a new promotion where one can get to play poker's biggest names for $1,000,000 on television! The Shark Cage is a new TV show where world-known poker professionals, Team PokerStars Pro and a few "lucky" PokerStars qualifiers will compete in eight heats (will be filmed at EPT events). Each heat will see five poker pros and one online qualifier battle it out for a seat in the final, will be played at EPT London, where the winner will take home $1,000,000 (winner takes all). Online qualifier tournaments are played daily at 15:00 ET from November 25-30. Good luck!

Current promotions:

100% up to $600 Deposit Bonus
Leaderboard ($21,400 IN PRIZES - NOV. 1 TO JAN. 31!!)
Daily leaderboard freerolls

Heats will be filmed at EPT events in The Bahamas, Monaco and Barcelona, with the $1,000,000 final in London. A full line-up of poker superstars will be taking part, with plenty of trash-talk and exciting action along the way. The show has an innovative format including never-before-seen features, such as:

‘Play against the clock': Each player only has 30 seconds to act on each street, ensuring plenty of fast and exciting play.

‘Don't get bluffed': If a player pulls off a bluff on the river, the loser gets sent to the Shark Cage to miss an orbit. The bluffer meanwhile gets bonus chips if they make it to the final. If the bluff gets called, the bluffer will go to the tank, and the player who called will get the bonus chips.

‘No deals': All players who participate in the TV show will be asked to sign a contract and release form confirming that they will not enter into any deals for the $1,000,000 first prize.

wasnt interested in this till the new features were explained. now thats cool. 30secs is a long time when playing online, but in a real game it goes by so quick. Although it could affect the trash talk you get during a hand. But its talor made for TONY G! lets hope it doesnt take 4 years till it comes out on national television

Wow this is a nice event, hope it gets the required crowds at it looks to be one of the best thing that comes out of poker for a while. I mean new stuffs that we have not seen for a while.

Anyway this will attract fishes and people looking for fame to get in the spot light as it will be televised, also the no deal makes it interesting as deals tend to destroy actions!!

Winner takes all makes this a massive tournament. To play these guys would be great but you are going to need to be very lucky to win it. But you never know i hope that an online player wins it all

Sounds interesting but i guess on the online qualifier will be madness as usual.

To me this promotion/event sounds more like a marketing event to promote the site than a campaign focused just for the players.
