On Tuesday, the 2012 European Poker Awards took place at the Aviation Club De Paris (a gambling club/casino in central Paris, France). Kara Scott was the host of the night and received the award Poker Personality of the Year.
German poker pro Marvin Rettenmaier was the only one to receive double awards on the night, receiving the German Player of the Year award and European Player of the Year award.
