Road to 100 Billion

On Tuesday, PokerStars began the countdown to its 95 billionth hand. There's up to $1,000,000 in cash to play for, and more than 300 chances to win. All you have to is to play at PokerStars cash game tables and be dealt into a millionth hand from 94,700,000,000 to 95,000,000,000 (e.g. 94,902,000,000). The winner of the ninety-five billion hand will get at least $20,000!

How can I increase my chances of winning?

• Play on more tables - If you are able to play on more than one table at a time, you will increase your chances of being dealt into a milestone hand.
• Play longer sessions - The size of the prizes depends on the number of VIP Player Points (VPPs) you have earned while sitting at the table. Try to take a seat at a table well in advance of the next milestone hand to increase the amount of your potential prize.
• Loosen up - you earn VPPs every time you contribute to a raked pot. The more pots you play in, the more VPPs you will earn.

Current promotions on PokerStars:

100% Up To $600 First Deposit Bonus!

Leaderboard with $20,800 in prizes!

Daily Freerolls (leaderboard)

I’m concentrated on playing at FTP when I have spare time, I don’t know if I will care too much with this billionth hand thing. Some zoom players can suffer a lot with this billionth hand thing. Some of them are so used to quick fold that, in case the billionth hand is given there, they won’t even have the option of, at least dispute it. Do you think zoom action can decrease the number of players when the billionth hand gets closer, just because of what I wrote?

only counts your last 50 hands i think... so from the 51st your 1st hand doesn't count anymore.

The milestone hands are only dealt at normal cash tables.
Zoom tables are not included.
The reason is what you mentioned - if it were dealt in the zoom game, how could the telling of Pokerstars be right... Would be very hard to count the number of hand. Smile

Yesterday morning why having my coffee i took a look at Stars and cathced the moment of a milestone hand, a rare one, the guys were sitting at a 0,25/0,50 HU NL Table. The russian winner of the hand won 2910$, the canadian opponent 1490$. Quite a good start of the day for the russian and nice ending for the canadian winning at 2 a.m. there! Smile

Thanks for clarifying me rafiko1, it wouldn’t make any sense in not giving everyone at the table the chance to take a time and think right. Although many keep not understanding the reason of the game is paused and keep folding their hands. But the only way to PS guarantee everyone would go to play that hand would be to define that automatically, taking in consideration everyone will win more than they are betting at that hand even if they lose.

Great promo and full of excitement as the **Billionth hand approaches...you need to get a seat early on and dont wait too close to the final hand or you wont get a seat at all...keep trying Mobsters and tell us if any of you win.

Actually it's very easy to find a seat in Omaha tables for instance and they also count towards the milestone hand rewards.

Had some success last night in this promo, not through gettng a billionth hand table, but just winning due to the increased number of people playing....draws in all sorts. Off there soon to have a nother bash.
