It's been a very action-packed weekend in the poker world. Besides the Aussie Million Main Event final table, the World Poker Tour Borgata Winter Poker Open concluded with Andy Hwang taking home the top prize and a spot in the WPT Champions Cup. The 27-year-old poker pro from Houston, Texas, outlasted a record-field of 1,042 players and now has $977,152 in live tournament earnings.

Nice first prize for Andy Hwang, $730k in the begining of Febraury brings good exepctations for the rest of the year. I just can't understand why didn't he put his arms arounf those two beauties!!! I would!

nice win, but i remember back in the days when the first price on the world poker tour was always over one million, what happent too that beutifully tournement how in way was one of the reasons for the poker boom?

Well its surely is a nice win for andy !! a good start to the year ahead ...thats a sweet amount of cash ..730k !! the prize does not end there but also a seat to the wpt .. thats a nice one ... hope he does well in the wpt too ...
