Someone called 911 at 7 p.m. Sunday, February 3, to report that three children were locked inside a van behind a business on the west side of Oklahoma City. Police arrived at the scene 45 minutes later and found a 1-year-old boy, a 3-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy asleep inside the van.The two youngest children were sitting in car seats, while the third child was secured to a back seat by a cloth tide to a seatbelt - in such a way that he couln't get loose. The police became more concerned when they noticed that a window was partly open, because it was -13 degrees celcius outside.

The police banged on the back door of the business, but no one opened the door. They walked around to the front and entered the building - where they found the children's father, 30-year-old Andrew Dean Rasdall, in a bar playing video poker. An employee said that Rasdall worked at the roadhouse and had come in to do some paperwork. He claimed that co-workers of Rasdall had promised to keep an eye on Rasdall's kids. But the officiers were not happy with the explanation and arrested Rasdall on three counts of child neglect. Officers then called the kids mother, who's estranged from Rasdall, to pick up the children.

Seriously, that man has really fallen victim to the addiction of gambling. I can't even begin to understand how someone could leave their children outside in a car at minus degrees wile playing poker... That's just messed up!

Frickin idiot! I don't know what's wrong with some people or can they be classified as a human. I mean little helpless children being left in a car for any reason is pathetic. I hope they lock him up with someone who likes white azz in the middle of the night.
What's sad is this dude will walk with a slap on the hand for the most part. He's the kind of person who don't really even want his kids, their a burden to him and like so many they make babies without caring and want to forget about the responsibility.

This might be harsh, but I think every male should be fixed when their young and no body can have a child until they prove they capable of being a good provider.

Some people sometimes suffer from something that makes them forget the most important things of their lives. Even if he had asked for someone to put an eye on the van, he shouldn’t have took more time than the necessary to do his job. Being found playing video poker in that situation is just too bad. He deserved to be arrested.
