After the Finnish poker pro Patrik Antonius had swept Rui Cao (France) clean in a Triple Draw match last Friday at Full Tilt Poker, Cao suggested that the two should start a $1 million challenge consisting of pot-limit Omaha ($350k match), no-limit hold'em ($350k) and 2-7 triple draw ($300k).

On Wednesday, the challenge kicked off at a $1,500/$3,000 2-7 Triple Draw table at Full Tilt Poker. Cao won $15k in the very first hand of the match and remained in front through out the match. In fact, it only took about 3 hours and 350 hands for him to take $300,000 from Antonius.

There is still no information on when the second match will be played. Let's hope that it won't take too long!

These guys launch each type of challenges that I can’t close my mouth while reading this. After losing to Patrick, Cao launched a challenge divided in three different games. Only someone dominating the whole poker scene and all its variations one can be able to even think about doing this and waiting for the other part to accept it. Antonius must be real aware of the games he plays best and the others he plays not that good, but he decided to accept and he’s already losing $300k.

But Patrik Antonius lives in Monaco, so his monthly mortgage must be more than a million Blink

Anyways Rui Cao is a very confident guy, he's not going to stop untill he gets all his money back and more Blink

so patrick won 600K in australia, he thinks he is on a roll...nothing can stop him bla bla bla...fair challenge though, i like that they decided to spread the challenge on 3 separate games and banks. i think that the challenge will end with 2-1 scoreline, so basically someone is gonna lose around 300K

Rui Cao has made a good bet here with patrik, he is by far the fouverit , he play so much more online then patrik, and he is a better play. And i think a lot of players underrestimate him in other games like trippel drew, he has been practicing a lot on trippel drew. but nice with a challenge for the railbirds

I agree with pochui that this must end as a 2-1, and although things haven't started the best way to Patrick Antonius, he still have the chance to turn the results around and ending winning 300k.
