PokerStars Sunday Million celebrated its seventh birthday last Sunday. PokerStars guaranteed a prize pool of $7,000,000, with at least $1 million to the winner. The tournament attracted 49,287 players ($215 buy-in) which made the total prize pool an incredible $9,857,400 - a great prize pool than the 2013 PCA Main Event.

After more than 15 hours of play, "benislovas" from Lithuania was the last man standing and received $848,589! Due to a 3-way deal on the final table, the second and third place finishers also received over $800k each. Here is the final table results:

1 benislovas $848,589*
2 Dave "sexygee" Gent $836,321*
3 Kasra84 $813,370*
4 n0rflip $358,809
5 pellompogos $254,321
6 stradale430 $181,376
7 Andrey "2outs4cake" Lidgey $117,303
8 rewgr343 $85,759
9 Heminsley $62,102

*= reflects the results of a three-way deal that left $140,000 in play for the winner

Interesting how the first 3 got almost the same prize making it indeed a 3way first position ( at least money-wise).
I think no one will complain really... even poor 9th place over there got some whooping 62k... more than enough to make anyones day.

That is really an impressive winning, especially for the top 3 players.
Would love to be on a similiar Final Table one day / once in my life.
But I guess thats the dream of all of us here.

I don’t know in what conditions did they got to the final three field, but if they were even at that point, the agreement was well done. And playing to win $140k after paying $215 buy-in and guaranteeing almost $800k of prize is good in the same!

Well,....the first thing I'd be doing is going out to buy a few boxes of Depends....

For you European guys who don't know that Depends are,....they are adult diapers,... You likely have an equivalent... because once it dawned on me that I won THAT MUCH money,.... I'd surely crap myself... Big Smile
