After 2 days of play this event's field had been narrowed down from 3,164 to 38 players. Several well-known pros (Scott Seiver, Nam Le, and a few others) were among the 38 players who battled it out during day 3, but in the end of the day it was an relatively unknown player, Charles Sylvestre, who had all the chips. Sylvestre, a real estate broken from Canada who won $230,000 in a PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) event about 2 weeks ago, received $491,360 in prize money and his very first gold bracelet!
