Day 1B of partypoker WPT UK attracted 239 entries and 130 of them made it through to Day 2. England's Fred Wise finished on top of the chip counts with 215,100 and will be bringing the overall chip lead into Day 2.
Notables that made it through Day 1B included WPT Champions Club members Chris Moorman (165,200), David "Devilfish" Ulliot (56,000) and Julian Thomas (52,500). Big names that weren't as fortunate on Day 1B: WPT Champions Club Members Jake Cody, Dominik Nitsche, and Chino Rheem. Also, 2012 Big One for One Drop runner-up Sam Trickett was eliminated in one of the last hands of the day.
Day 2 kicks off at 1pm today, and all players who hasn't re-entered four times already can take another shot. In other words, we will know what the total prize pool will be at the end of Day 2 and state it in tomorrow's update.
