51 players of 354 entries remain after three days of intensive play in the World Poker Tour UK Main Event. Adrian Mateos will lead the remaining pack into Day 2, which begins at 1pm local time, with a stack of 560,500. Mateos was the Day 1A chip leader before Day 1B generated a new one, Fred Wise of England, who is still alive with 111,000 chips.

Chris Moorman (125,000) and Jake Cody (182,500) are the last two Champions Club members in the remaining field of players. WPT winners who weren't as successful as them in Day 2 were Marvin Rettenmaier, Michael Mizrachi, Roberto Romanello, Dave Ulliot, Chino Rheem and Julian Thomas. Also, Poker Hall of Fame member and WPT commentator Mike Sexton won't return for Day 3.

45 of the remaining players will make the money. The plan for day Day 3 is to play down to 24 players and move one step closer to the final table - where a first-place prize of $313,328 if up for grabs! We will be back with a final table recap on Monday morning.

I have just been on the WPT website and Chris Moorman is out in 42nd place and won close to $10k but I think he has won enough this year!
Tamer Kamel suddenly just went from 300k to chip leader with 1.7 million in the space of a few minutes, eliminating 3 players in quick succession.
Only 32 players left now so getting into an interesting part of the tournament now,Jake Cody is still in but with about half the average stack.

There have been a lot of well known and very good players knocked out of this tournament and it proves, how difficult it is to cash in these tournaments, let alone win one
