The schedule for this summer's World Series of Poker has finally been released! The 45th annual WSOP has 65 events that will be played May 27 - July 14, 2014 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, and the highlight will of course be the Main Event with a massive $10,000,000 guaranteed for the winner.

Apart from the Main Event, the $1,000,000 buy-in event (Big One for One Drop) is something to look forward to! The previous Big One for One Drop (47 entries) was won by Antonio "The Magician" Esfandiari in 2012 for an incredible $18,346,673! Will Esfandiari's world-record first prize be broken? Until we know the answer, have a look at the 2014 WSOP schedule below...

This is the time when most of us mobsters start giving strength to the few registered around here that may give it a try at WSOP! They can be few, but they are good, and we all want them to have nice results, because that can bring value to BRM, which is awesome!

Wow another One Drop, I wasn't sure if that'd be a one off or not...I'd liek to see the good it has done within the charity.

I think there's gonna be 47+ easy this time round - it's a known quantity, people have seen it, how it works, how people play at that level so from that perspective more people will feel able to part with cash to buy-in. But realistically its only top poker pros and overly rich businessmen who can take part, and we saw how that turned out.

That even 57 should be really, really interesting to watch, i bet that they'll make sure to promote that good Smile

Does anyone know if this time they will also give a platinum bracelet like they gave to Esfandiari?

Oh how wonderful it would be to qualify for a piece of the action at the World Series of Poker and get the opportunity to mix with some of the big boys (and girls) of the poker. Circuit and to experience the thrill and razzmatazz of it all........ Keep on dreamin'.

More wonderful to read about all this games cuz I wont participate in any of it. Good luck for anybody who will - may they be bankrollmobsters or not. With these buy-ins I would say not so many brm member will, but in LV the accommodation is the cheapest from all-around America, so anybody who maps his/her summer vacation on July could be there just in time and cheaply.
Maybe join a few online satellites just for the fun part, but the fun part is where you won, and those WSOP sats I joined so far had me down on my luck.
At least I didnt go broke for it Agree

Its surprising how quickly the World Series of Poker comes around every year. It has always been a dream of mine to go there but i fear that it is all it is, a dream.Good luck to all those who compete

so i reckon our own poker pro takingdrugs should be getting ready for some but-kicking right from the 1st whistle on the 5th of July, surely hope he can make it to the table with some of highly renowned nosebleeders so he can show the world that the best of the best poker players come only from the brm forum.
