How excited must David Yan be when he is leading the tournament. I know that there is a long way to go, but imagine the excitement levels and trying to keep them in check. Good luck to all

He could be excited, but its still p.oker. Yesterdays chipleaders often tomorrows bubble boys.
Still its the goddamn riviera, but if they have the same weather as the rest of Europe its a waste to organize the ME during april. Or any other spring month.

It is still very very soon to make any predictions.

The chipleader can have 2 or 3 unlucky hands and be out.

yeah too soon to make any predictions, the Asian will be killing it, they seem to have a natural talent for gambling, well I know some Asian people, just a little that is why I think i am biased. Anyway hope the tourney is fun and we get a solid final table and some nice twist and turn. Cheers can't wait for the tourney to reach it's final stages!

yea too early really. in fact, anything pre final table is too early to make any predictions Tongue

A guy that already won $600k in tourneys being in first place when the field is still over 300 shouldn't be as excited as doubletop777 is trying to describe, because he already knows what the future may bring in this tourney. So, instead of excitation, he's more up to feel relief for being in the top, otherwise he would probably feel disapointment for not reaching a good result in the first part of the tourney. But let's wait and see what the future brings for him.

Being a chipleader is definitely a good thing, you can "terorize" other players,

but you can still very easily fall down and bust in a few hands.

David has a pretty good lead as it seats now but frankly it's way to early in the tournament in order to say it has a major lead over others...

I will definately check out this event now considering that these days are free and i have some spare time on my hands Smile

Well there is definitely a bigger chance that a chipleader will maintain his chiplead

when there are less players remaining.

Really a sign of the times that events like this in this kinda location aren't attrcating that many players.
Frankly poker has gotten to be such a tough thing to crack as everyone is very skilled generally speaking especially at those levels.

A good location is quite a strong argument for most of the recreational players.

They are going to the tourney to have some fun outside the poker room as well. Therefore locations like Carribean are more popular...
