Both starting days of WPT Borgata Poker Open are in the books. An impressive 826 entries entered Day 1B to bring the total field size to 1,226 entries! This means that this Main Event is the fourth largest event in WPT history!
In total, 625 players made it through Day 1B and will join the 171 players who advanced from Day 1A at 12pm ET today. Since Day 1B chip leader Darlene Lee "only" accumulated 254,900 chips, American pro Ben Bianco, who bagged up 389,000 chips at the end of Day 1A, is still out front of the field.
Notables who will be back for Day 2 include John Racener, Erik Cajelais, Jonathan Little, Matt Glantz, Matt Salsberg and Kara Scott! The remaining players are fighting for a prize pool of $3,924,426, of which the winner will get $843,744. Check back tomorrow morning for another brief update.
