EPT Malta Main Event: Alexander Ivarsson Leads Final 16 (LIVE STREAM at 12:00 CET)

16 players will return to Portomaso Casino today and battle it out for a seat at the six-handed EPT Malta Main Event final table, where the winner is set to take home €602,400! The man with the biggest stack heading into the fifth day of play is Day 2 chip leader Alexander Ivarsson from Sweden.

Ivarsson leads the remaining players with 2.4 million in chips and is closely followed by Poland's Jaroslaw Sikora with 2.3 million (the only other palyer with over 2 million). Notables that will return today include UK poker pro Niall Farrell (1.9 million) and Rainer Kempe (1.7 million), who is looking to make back-to-back final tables after finishing in 5th place in the EPT Barcelona Main Event.

oh boy oh boy how great it is to see such notables as Niall Farrell and Rainer Kempe at the remaining two tables. not sure that every poker fan ranks those two as the biggest poker stars in the world, but i am really convinced that there are those poker players who know them... go Kempe go...
