In just about six hours of play on Day 4 of the World Poker Tour Montreal Main Event, a field of 16 players was reduced to a final table of six, including Brian Altman who bagged up 8.4 million and the chip lead. Altman, who has about 1 million dollars in career earnings, has 3.4 million more than his nearest opponent, Darrell Fish with 5.1 million.
The televised final table (broadcasted on Twitch at 4:30 pm ET on a 30-minute delay with holecards and expert commentary led by Mike "Timex" McDonald) kicks off today at 4 pm local time. All remaining players are guaranteed at least $87,520, with the chance of reaching the title and the $433,410 CAD first-place prize.
