The first starting day of the 2015 WPT UK Main Event kicked off yesterday at the Dusk Till Dawn Casino. The field was narrowed down to 56 players after 10 60-minutes levels of play, and Simon Deadman bagged up the chip lead with 312,500!
Deadman, who has over $2.3 million in live tournament earnings, will be joined to Day 2 by the likes of WPT Prague winner Alex Goulder (162,300), 2015 WPT500 Las Vegas winner Craig Varnell (161,800), WSOP bracelet winner Craig McCorkell (101,000), and many more. Notables who didn't make it through Day 1A included reigning champion Matas Cimbolas, Adrian Mateos and Marcel Luske (they will be able to re-enter on Day 1B)
