The second day of the $25,000 High Roller saw a field of 129 players returning to the poker tables. It was an action-packed day of poker, given that only 11 players remained after ten levels of play - including big names such as Scott Seiver, Faraz Jaka and Dominik Nitsche.
However, it was Canada's Jean-Pascal Savard (picture) who bagged up the chip lead at the end of play. Savard only has $61,857 in live tournament earnings until now, so he's already guaranteed to earn the biggest cash of his career.
In total, the High Roller attracted 269 entries this year, which is a new record for the PCA! This also means that Savard and the other players will be fighting for some serious cash from now on! The total prize pool is $6.2 million with all the remaining players being guaranteed to take home at least $112,980 each! The last man standing will receive a cheque of $1,294,460!
