The Main Event has been narrowed down from 668 entries to 30 players after 3 intensive days of play at Crown Melbourne. Raiden Kan finished Day 3 with the chip lead (1,775,000), but all eyes will be on defending champion Ami Barer (443k) and two-time AU$250k Challenge winner Phil Ivey (439k) when Day 4 kicks off.
Other notables that will return today include EPT regular Andrew Chen (1,165,00) two-time WSOP winner Brian Rast (1,156,000), and WPT champ Jonathan Roy (467,000).
The plan for Day 4 is to play down to a final table of seven. A large chunk of the AU$6,480,000 prize pool will be up for grabs on the final table, including the AU$1.6 million put aside for the winner.
One can be sure that the remaining part of the tournament will be very thrilling to follow with so many poker pros and so much prize money.
