Day 2 of the WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star Main Event concluded just a couple of minutes ago with 36 remaining players from a field of 708 entries. Since the registration is now closed, we can confirm that the total prize pool is $5,026,800 and the winner will get $1,214,200.
Redwood City's Imad Allaham (only $7,680 in tournament winnings according to Hendon Mob) will lead the remaining 36 player to Day 3 with 1,717,000 in chips. The unknown American will be joined by the likes of WPT Champions Club members Shawn Buchanan and Steve Brecher and Shooting Stars Chris Moorman, Garrett Greer, Sorel Mizzi, and Faraz Jaka.
