Ely Levy and Griffin Paul were the only two players with over 6 million in chips when Day 3 kicked off on Tuesday. Levy eventually finished in 11th place for $58,500 while Paul continued accumulating chips throughout the day. In total, he had 14,290,000 or almost a third of the chips in play when the final table of six was set and play ended.
His closest opponent, Andre Crooks, has just about 4 million less - which might give you an idea how well Griffin Paul was doing on Day 3. Nothing is written in stone, though. Besides Paul and Crooks, the other four players should also have good chances of becoming the champion (and $1 million richer).
Joe Ebanks, who has $2.4 million in live tournament earnings, is the biggest star on the final. With the third biggest stack (6.5 million) and so much live tournament experience, he will definitely put on a good fight on today's televised final table (begins 4 pm local time today).
There's 10 minutes left in Level 30 (blinds 50,000-100,000, 15,000 ante), the blinds at the next level will be 60k-120k with a 20k ante. May the best player win!
