Erick Lindgren, a former Full Tilt pro and 2008's WSOP Player of The Year, has filed for bankruptcy for the second time in thee years. According to Blomberg Business, Lindgren owes over $8 million and listed assets of less than $50,000 in Chapter 11 papers on Tuesday in U.S. Bakruptcy Court in Las Vegas.
The Rational Group, which owns PokerStars and Full Tilt, sued Lindgren earlier this year for failing to return a mistakenly credited $2.5 million loan to his Full Tilt account in 2011.
His bankruptcy in 2012 was closed without him being able to clear up his debts. Back then he owed the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) $3.8 million.
Now some of you might think that Lindgren is lying low, avoiding the media etc., but the fact is that he's busy playing events at the 2015 World Series of Poker. (He finished 7th in the Millionaire Maker event for $193k on June 5).
