According to WSOP.com, he bagged up the chip lead on Day 3 then as welll. If he finishes among the top 12 players this time, it will be his first cash of the 2015 WSOP.

Event #45: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em

24 players of 1,655 entrants are all left after two days of play. Jason Koon is the chip leader with 1.4 million heading into Day 3. Koon bagged up the chip lead thanks to winning a huge pot on the evening of Day 2 with aces against the kings of Oliver Busquet.

The only other two players to accumulate over 1 million chips were Barry Hutter with 1,096,000 and David Jackson with 1,059,000. Also moving on to Day 3 are former November Niner John Dolan (641,000), WSOP bracelet winner Phillip Hui (357,000) and Upeshka Desilva (729,000)

Honestly how many 1.5k No-Limit Hold'em Events they are going to hold this year? They already had at least half-dozen if not more... I know it's the most popular type/format to be played, but come on now. I wanna see more obscure things than this.

Its always nice to read about these events and there are a lot of well known players battling for bracelets. I would really like to see Barny Boatman win another bracelet and will be checking on his progress

Obviously with such a great name as this (I mean this is a great name) - Barney Boatman, come on now - he is/was destined for success. Not on this year's WSOP it seems, but still. His first bracelet came only two years ago, so he is definitely going to get some more in the future IMO.
