2015 WSOP: David Jackson Tops Day 2C Field

Day 2C started with 2,747 players from Day 1C and ended with approximately 1,142 survivors, led by David Jackson ($430,676 in live tournament earnings, according to HendonMob) who accumulated 408,800 in chips heading to Day 3. Here are the top five players after Day 2C:

David Jackson - 408,800
Zach Jiganti - 401,900
Shawn Van Alsdale - 388,000
Louis Salter - 344,400
Hugo Perez - 343,300

However, all above players are behind the following Day 2-AB players in the chip counts: Amar Anand (603,500), Calvin Lee (500,700), Luther Tran (479,700) and Charles Chattha (423,300).

A total of 1,796 players from Day 2AB and Day 2C will return tomorrow for Day 3 (no more separation of players). Big names to watch out for on Day 3 include former World Champions Scotty Nguyen (181,200), Joe Hachem (148,500), Phil Hellmuth (88,800), Ryan Reiss (291,700), and Jim Bechtel (140,000); Daniel Negreanu (123,600), Daniel Alaei (199,800) JC Tran (113,700), Max Steinberg (232,700), Matt Glantz (306,00) and Adrian Mateos.

I am looking forward to reading the updates on Day3 because this is when all the players merge into one group and we get a better idea of who is doing well. Good luck to all

i testify that i have a bad feeling about Phill Hellmouth being the bubble boy... with all the verbal consequences to follow. surely this would be the greatest exit in the history of wsop main events so far. go phill, we're all here at the humble brm forum are rooting for you.
