Day 3 of the 2015 World Series of Poker Main Event came to an end after nearly a 13-hour marathon with 661 survivors from a field of 1,796 players. The top 1,000 players received at least $15,000 each, and all players who are still alive have secured about double that amount.

Five of seven Main Event winners who started Day 3 will return for Day 4. They are: Jim Bechtel, Phil Hellmuth, Ryan Riess, Joe Hachem, and Jonathan Duhamel. Another player to keep an eye on today is World War II veteran and 2015 WSOP Main Event's oldest player, 94-year-old William Wacher.

The Main Event will continue for another four days until only 9 players remain. Check back tomorrow for another brief update.

We are getting closer and closer to finding out this years champion and all players left in must be dreaming of becoming world champion. Great to see Phil Hellmuth still left in the tournament

I know nothing about the chip leader,I think he led one of the opening days and looking at his Hendon page prior to this he had only one cash of $750,if it is the same guy then he must be in dreamland right now.
Brian Hastings definitely has the potential to win this.
