2015 WSOP Main Event: Negreanu Eliminated in 11th Place ($526,778)

Hand #119:

Joe McKeehen raised to 800,000 on the button and Daniel Negreanu called. The flop came out ADiamondKClub10Diamond and Negreanu checked. McKeehen bet 700,000 and Negreanu moved all in for 5.8 million. McKeehen, with over 50 million in chips, called.

Negreanu tabled ASpade4Diamond (top pair) and McKeehen JDiamond3Diamond (straight and flush draw). The 3Heart on the turn gave McKeehen further outs. Negreanu now needed to dodge diamonds, Queens, Jacks, and threes in order to take home the pot and stay alive in the tournament. 

The dealer burned another card and dealt the river: QHeart, giving McKeehen a straight and the pot. Daniel Negreanu received $526,000 for his 11th place finish. Close, but no cigar. Negreanu will be missed by many of his fans on this year's final table.

What a great run by Daniel Negreanu but what a sick way to go out. He played the hand perfectly but just didnt have that last bit of luck that every player needs. Congrats and commiserations to him

It realy sucks for him... I think I couldnt be worse... he wanted main event title so much, because he doesnt have any... and he finish 11th and 10th recive 225k$ more than 11th... He must be so pissed off... :S I think this was his last chance to win it....

Though I would probably kill myself too if somebody would eliminate me with J3.

A check-raise to all-in by Negreanu at the flop didn't scared McKeehen that much, as he was ten times stronger than his opponent and already with a lot of outs on his side, although J3 doesn't look like a good hand to play and eliminate someone. The final table won't be the same with Negreanu away...

HELLO ALL MY FELLOW MOBSTERS

Even for a player like KIDPOKER use to take part in the most hot and big poker tables being kickout of WSOP so close to the final table is hard Aww crap! Aww crap! not I think for the money diference in his case but for the chance of play the final table

Negreanu is by far the best and most complete player on the circuit, with a rare ability to read the game rivals excellently in this pass had just bad luck, to a patient that just by simply having more chips and be the chip leader, without great risk, its all in payment
It was a shame to be eliminated in 11th place and we can not enjoy his game and his personality in the November final table Thumbs Down

It is disappointing to not be seeing Negreanu at the final table and even though he received some decent money I am sure he was desperate to to win this event.Must be a great feeling for the other players,guarenteed a million but they now have a chance to snap up some sponsorship and publicity.

Yes it is disapointing to se him eliminated and by a J 3s. However i followed the tournament yesterday and Daniel all day long went up and down very often dont know how he did to manage to keep up and finished in 11th. place for a little half million. Smile Smile Smile

Don't be naive.
He could go at it least 30 - if not more - times again, and somebody with this kind of unique skillset is not at all a longshot in this tournament. He will probably get one down during his carrier IMO.

Great game from a start but I didnt believe when I saw this hand. Unlucky for Daniel, but he is still the best player and Joe, just can say congratulations and enjoy it maybe it was your last win against Daniel Smile

Yeah, Joe would probably never ever get this lucky again with a J3 tbh.
