The $2 Million Guaranteed WPT Man Event begins today at Choctaw Casino Resort in Oklahoma. Players will received 30,000 chips for a buy-in of $3,500 +$200, and registration (possible to re-enter if eliminated) will remain open until the start of Day 2. A large field of players is expected to show up for this tournament, which will crown a winner on Tuesday, August 4 (televised final table).

30k stack is cool... 2mil gtd for 3700 dollaros buy-in is also cool, televised final table is not cool, because whole world can see you scratching your nose and/or balls. probably the best thing to do is to drop out just before the final table to keep a quiet image, take some cash home and scratch balls on the couch...

This sounds like it will be a very large entry tournament with a massive $2,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. I look forward to Monday's update just to see who has entered this
I don't get to see much of the WPT anymore so it will be good to see how well this tournament goes.For a $2million guaranteed game the $3700 seems very reasonable,especially when you are getting a massive starting stack.
One thing getting 30k worth of chips, another is looking at the blind levels. I mean I did not found anywhere is this even a deepstack tourney or not, so I am just curious. But battling for a gtd 2 million is definitely the cream of the crop for a 3k buyin.
