Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy ended up in trouble in a late-night poker game last month. The 28-year-old footballer, who has the nickname "the cannon" due to his explosive personality, went to a casino in Leicester on July 26 with some of his team-mates to play some cards.
In the early hours, after his girlfriend had told him that a fellow gambler had looked at his cards, he lost his temper and repeatedly told the man: "Yo Jap, walk on." Vardy eventually stood up from his chair, preparing to go after the player, however, his girlfriend and team mates stopped him from doing so.
Unforunately, the story doesn't end here. Just minutes after the fight clash, he turned to another man and shouted "What the f*** has it got to do with you? Outside now", then stood up and attempted to go after him as well.
Reason? Well, according to The Sun, the second man had politely pointed out to Vardy that one is allowed to watch a poker table as long as one don't comment on the hand in play.
"We expect the highest standards from our players on and off the pitch and for them to set an example as role models in our community," a Leicester City spokesman told The Sun.
