Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open: Back-To-Back Final Tables For Daniel Colman

Tags: Daniel Colman, Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open.
Posted on 18 August 2015 by "T".

Today the final table of the 2015 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Main Event will be played. A field of 907 players entered the tournament for $5,250 each, which means that that host of the tournament must add some $500k to cover the $5 million guarantee. Now, after several days of play, the original starting field has become a final table of 9 - who will be fighting for a 1 million dollar first-place prize!

Daniel Colman, who won this tournament last year for $1.4 million, is still alive and kicking. He will bring the third largest stack to the final table with 3.6 million in chips, and he's up gainst some tough competition, including Randy Pfeifer (has won Heartland Poker Tour and Deepstacks Poker Tour events), Rick Alvardo (two final tables at this year's WSOP), and Paul Volpe (over $9 million in live and online tournament earnings).

It looks like the organizers of this tourney failed to do their sums properly but at least the had the good grace to add the extra half million dollars.
There are some great players left,Colman is looking good but Pfeifer has 5 million more chips so not going to be easy for Colman to hang on to his title.

Good luck to all those players left in. Its an amazing achievement by Daniel Colman to reach back to back final tables and it wouldnt surprise me in the slightest if he won it again

Daniel Colman failed to win this tournament but he did finish third for $310,000 so not a bad pay day.The winner was Omar Zazay who won the million dollars and I think his best cash prior to this was 80k!!

Overlay works this way. This was +EV for everybody except the organizers.
