Aaron Mermelstein Wins His Second WPT Title Of 2015!

On Tuesday, Aaron Mermelstein took down his second WPT title after winning the World Poker Tour Maryland Main Event! Mermelstein, who won the WPT Borgata Winter Poker Open in January this year, bested a field of 337 runners and a final table that included two-time WSOP bracelet winner Greg Merson to bank $250,222 and a seat into the $15,400 buy-in WPT World Championship. He is the 25th person (Gus Hansen, Carlos Mortensen and Season XIII Hublot WPT Player of the Year Anthony Zinno etc.) to have scored two+ WPT titles.

The next stop on the World Poker Tour will be in South Africa: the WPT Emperors Palace Poker Classic. The tournament is scheduled for October 30 - November 1, and we will keep you informed on the Main Event and other big events.

1. Aaron Mermelstein - $250,222 (including a package into WPT World Championship)
2. Xin "Tony" Wang - $164,765
3. Andjelko Andrejevic - $105,981
4. Greg Merson - $78,449
5. Cate Hall - $58,589

big congratulations for mr. Aaron Mermelstein and his support team, also high fives for the event organizers and toilet cleaning staff. this was an event that will go down into history as... just another gathering of dudes who love poker and have some extra dollaros in their pockets.

A great win for Mermelstein and a great name as well......Mermelstein......Aaron Mermelstein,he did well to beat the tricky Xin Wang as it is never nice to have a dangerous Wang coming up behind you.

Pretty long time I did not see Gus Hansen's name in a poker news, anyone know what happen to him, is he still alive did he retire or else???

Cheers big win for him hope he keep it up and continue to make his name in the poker world i dont know him per say but good luck to him, anyway im back from work and very tired and just got back on the forum to resource my mind and then maybe place some bets, so good luck out there if you playing at the poker table and and all, cheers peace out now got to eat too and maybe a movie afterwards, have fun guys at the tables!

Hey Crash......You had never heard of Aaron Mermelstein?That does surprise me as he is 567th on the US all time money list and 2406th on the Hendon popularity index!!
Seriously he has won over a million dollars so he could be better than me at poker.......maybe!!

Congratulations , Aaron Mermelstein when I grow up I want to be like you. surrounded by pretty girls so is inpirador be a champion , I will use these memories to not lose focus and maintain concentration . the ability on the table make a man lucky .
