On Wednesday, German poker pro George Danzer took home $338,646 in prize money as well as his fourth career World Series of Poker gold bracelet! Danzer won the $10,000 buy-in Seven-Card Stud High-Low Split tournament, which lasted for three days and nights and concluded last night on the ESPN main stage at the Rio in Las Vegas.

This marked his 24th cash as the World Series since his first appearance in 2010, and he has won this event 2 times!

"Now that I have won this tournament twice, I feel more comfortable to play it again," Danzer told wsop.com.  "I think I'm a favorite over the field.  But I wouldn't say I am one of the best because there are so many players that play high-stakes who are ahead of me.  But I am doing fine because tournament strategy is a little bit different."

This tourney attracted 136 entrants, including David Benyamine, Justin Bonomo, Eli Elezra, Todd Brunson. The top 21 finishers collected a payday from the $1,278,400 prize pool.

I am so impressed with George Danzer's performance that earned him his fourth career WSOP bracelet by winning $10k buy-in 7-Card Stud High-Low Split tournament, which had 136 registrants, including numerous well-known, accomplished professional poker players from all over the world.

Honestly the real heroes in this situation are all the other participants, cuz' I could not even imagine how incredibly boring could be 2 play 'Seven-Card Stud High-Low Split' for three days straight. I mean sometimes I am going into sleep mode fast while playing at the zoom tables online so yeah, these people are great. At staying up.

Many congratulations to George Danzer on winning this event and $338,646. This looked like a really tough tournament to win with some very notable players in it. Well done again to him
