Poker AI Claudico is Being Wired to Fight Against Hackers

Claudico is an artificial intelligence computer developed by researchers at Carnegie Mellon University. Back in 2015, the supercomputer fought against four professional players. According to Professor Tuomas W. Sandhom, processes the capacity to handle security threats.

At present, Sandholm and his team are working on an AI that could help refine the programmed poker skills built into Claudico that will allow it to outperform even the top No Limit Hold'em players in the world.

Just last year, Claudico and its computer programming held a strong fight against Bjorn Li, Dong Kim, Doug Polk, and Jason Les. Sadly, it fell short and lost. Nevertheless, it has proven that under the right circumstances and better programming, an AI could beat even the best Poker Players - an area that could be the Holy Grail of AI computer programming.

According to Sandholm, the algorithms used in Claudico can be used in detecting hackers who are attempting to gain access inside a secure network.

Through the use of smart programming, the computer will be able to detect any strategies that an opponent has and figure out a way on how the weakness can be exploited. Sandholm is confident that cyber security systems can be improved.

Additionally, the improvement of AI can also help in solving a wide-range of issues, particularly in medical treatments.

Through the use of logical deduction and theory-style thinking built into a system program such as the way Claudico plays Poker, the potential to unlock more efficient treatment plans for diseases and other serious illnesses are possible.

Although the use of systems in such an application is many years away, the implications towards that future have already been started and even demonstrated. Since success in poker requires intuition, mathematics, logic, deductive capacity, and timing, if an artificial intelligence program can acquire all these skills and apply them, the outlook towards computers will surprisingly be interesting.

As of now, the battle between man and machine in poker will still continue. How long will men retain hold of the top spot? Only time will tell.

So this program was beaten by human poker pros in hold'em but they want to use it for future testing of security systems where it will probably gonna be beaten by human hacker pros. Yeah this makes sense.

Your reasoning is illogical, exterminate human subject.
