27 players are all that are left after 9 days and 6,710 eliminations, and they will now get a few hours of rest before it's time to return for the final day of play (Day 7) before the 9-handed final table (where $8,000,000 is put aside for the champion) is set and the tournament is paused until November, 2016.

Now, the remaining players will be led into Day 7 of the Main Event by Vojtech Ruzicka from Czech Republic with 26.4 million in chips. Ruzicka might not be the only foreign player if he makes it to the final table, because there are players from another 8 other foreign nations still alive and kicking, including France, UK, Spain, Australia & Hong Kong. Top 10 stacks:

1. Vojtech Ruzicka - 26,415,000
2. Michael Ruane - 24,565,000
3. Cliff Josephy - 23,860,000
4. James Obst - 19,560,000
5. Mike Shin - 19,345,000

What an exciting time it must be for all the players who are left in. Dreaming about winning $8,000,000 and becoming World Champion. I look forward to seeing who makes the final 9

it is certainly very very many games ... and win big and title is very good but .... this is really a survival game ... here we must be very hardy and not physically lose the care for a long time ... who Whatever won the title - this is really the best player

I noticed a number of notable names in the field, which will give the final table great potential. Recognizable names include Cliff Josephy, James Obst, previous chip leader and 8-time WSOP Circuit ring winner Valentin Vornicu, Tom Marchese, Griffin Benger, and 2009 November Niner Antoine Saout. I can't wait to watch ESPN coverage!

Funny that not even one of them making into the final nine is fueling my interest in any way at all.

The guy I would be worrying about is Tom Marchese, Straight up beast on the felt, So unassuming but plays like a champ. Can't wait for the November 9.

It seems like he did not make it onto the final table.

Most of the famous names I mentioned yesterday when 27 players were remained have already been eliminated except Cliff Josephy and Griffin Benger. It was really disappointing that Antoine Saout, a 2009 finalist, did not make the final table this year.
