EPT Barcelona Main Event Draws Record Field!

The EPT Barcelona Main Event is the biggest Main Event in EPT history with 1,785 entries! Thanks to so many entries, a massive €8,657.250 prize pool is up for grabs! Now, the money bubble has already popped (top 359 spots get a share from the prize pool) after 2 days of play and 290 players will return to the tables today and continue fighting for the top prize of €1,122,800!

Leading the way is Nicolas Chouity with 559k in chips. Chouity, perhaps best known for winning the EPT Monte Carlo Main Event in 2010 for €1.7 million, will be joined by the likes of Bryn Kenney (303,500), Jake Cody (284,500), Jason Mercier (266,500), Jason Koon (167,000) and Ilari "Ilari FIN" Sahamies (90,500).

i do hope that the poker superhero Pratyush Buddiga hasn't entered this tourney, because if he has, then all the remaining 1784 players are fighting for the 2nd place at the very most, however don't despair dudes- even though Pratyush Buddiga is unbeatable, he has a habit of taking less money for 1st place then the 2nd place finisher... go for 2nd place fellas.

Dunno why he is so important to you after his high roller win from the other day superpochie, but according to this article he is definitely not having the stack which could lend him 2 be among the top ten stacks by size, so there's that.

The EPT Barcelona attracts a massive entrance every year and this year is no different. It must be a great feeling to be in the money and you can relax and play freely

No wonder, the most people like the City of Barcelona and the EPT are the best european live poker Event every year! It was a dream to Play one time the main Event at this EPT, or at first, a side evnt inclusive a nice Holiday Big Smile
