These Powerfest events are always looked forward to every year and it will be very interesting to see who wins the big events. I will be entering a few micro buy in events and just dreaming of a big win

I will be in all the powerfest mini games

It looks like a good promotion. The buy ins though are a bit high, starting from 5.50.
There are satellites it says from 1 cent, but who know how many you need to win to get a ticket Smile
It will attract many players and that is for sure. Good luck to all the ones participating

Yeah I noticed that too. It's possible that the satellites gonna attract more players than the main events in the end tbh.
The 1k buy-in for a million GTD seems quite high too compared to others.

I took a look at the tournament schedule at Party Poker and i found some intereting tourney. And the best is, that i had a 5,50$ tourney ticket in my Party account. I busted after 3 hours, but it was a chance for a winning without a risk Smile

Powerfest..... A great tournament schedule with buy ins to suit everyone and satellite buy ins to encourage everyone to have a go to win something for very little. The fields will be big but are winnable. Just play your best poker, focus on winning and you will do well. Don't worry about going card dead, just play to win.

A total of $10 million prizes spreading over 198 events in three weeks. That's approximately half a million dollars a day, or $20,000 hourly. That's a lot of money.
Good luck to all those who will be participating in the Powerfest.

i will absolutely be playing the high roller with the buy-in of $5.200, that is if i manage to add roughly $5.199 to my party poker account until the event kicks off, however knowing my unprecedented poker skill (especially under the table) one can say that pochui has already got his seat reserved.

Aye i know starting at $5.50 is a bit steep but it's always worth trying a few sattys.

I will be happy if I get the chance to play the powerfest mini events still a descent prizepool for a lower overall buy in good value for the microstakes players and some nice guarantees for a small investment should be a fun series overall though Big Smile

Lmao Pochui, good luck with that bankroll building Big Smile Just bink 2-3 the jab tournaments in a row and you should be able to buy into this event... lol

It would be nice if Party would add some 2,20$ or 3,30$ tournaments to their schedule. But I feel like they wanna do different stuff than other poker rooms do to diffirentiate themselves... Still, I think they could benefit from more game/structure selection.
 Mober30/08/2016 18:47:09 GMT
Having the buy ins that high, they kinda protecting the tournaments from being lotto
games and all in donk fests.
Not that there wont be some, burning some money even with these buy ins.
Especially if there are rebuys.
Its in their nature Smile

So, having said (to myself admittedly) that I would play in as many of these games as possible I missed out totally on day one. Lots of things got in the way and again today stuff will get in the way and I am doubtful of even playing one hand of poker today. Good luck to all of you who get to play in this promotion.
 ivanjkp02/09/2016 11:35:36 GMT
The biggest POWERFEST in history well this is nice promotions Smile
But i dont like it at all because you need to play cash games to make top 100 on leaderboard and for that you need to rake 100$ on NL2-NL10 that not easy at all and for that you will win 2$ Smile
And after that you will need to finish ITM on some 5.5$+ tournament with thousends of players ....
That kind off promo isnt for me.
Good luck to all who try this!
 Mober02/09/2016 16:57:18 GMT
What exactly do you mean. by playing cash games?
Isnt this a tournament series? You need to play cash games first to make it to a list and then
be able to participate?
Never heard for anything like this before and i found this as a requirement silly.
Maybe i didnt get this right.
