On December 7 Thursday, Jonathan ‘sordykrd' Van Fleet bested all opponents to win the first partypoker Millions Online $5,300 Main Event for a whopping $1,027,000 prize (one of the biggest prizes awarded in online poker this year), thus bringing his total earnings to almost $10 million in online cashes!

The event kicked off on December 4 Monday and it was kind of a rough start when a glitch caused the day to extend 45 minutes longer than scheduled. Nevertheless, the tourney was a smashing success, with a total of 1,047 players who joined the tournament, which reached the $5 million guarantee set prior to the start of the tournament.

The event was the biggest in the history of partypoker: a $5,300 buy-in, a $5 million guaranteed prize pool, and a super-sweet $1 million guaranteed payout to the first place winner.

Fleet actually began the final day low on chips, and he's significantly behind star players like Viktor ‘Isildur1' Blom and Day 2 chip leader ‘FilthyTrousers', who sources now confirm to be poker pro Ludovic Geilich.

Amidst the tough competition and his rather low chip count, Fleet was able to rise up again, and he continued to battle while other big names like Viktor Blom (10th place, $59,053) were eliminated before they got to the final table.

According to partypoker, Fleet began the heads-up against ‘N0-|PTRI4|2I' with a 3:2 chip advantage, and he eventually won the title after his ace-queen stood strong against his opponent's king-jack.

Fleet has so far done a super good job playing other big online tourneys and now has over $9.4 million in overall online cashes, according to the PocketFives.com site.
