Daniel Weinman and another 65 World Poker Tour Champion club members enterd the Season XV Monster WPT Tournament of Champions. It took three days of play to boil down the field of poker talents to the televised WPT final table, where Daniel Weinman played Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi heads-up for the title and the $381,500 first-place prize.

According to WPT's website, Weinman started the heads-up with a decent lead. Mizrachi managed to double on the sixth hand and worked his way within 140k of Weinman. However, Mirazchi didn't get closer than that and two hands into Level 24 (20k/40k with a 5k ante) he was sent packing.

Mizrachi moved all in on the button for 885,000 with 5Heart5Club and Weinman called with AClub8Heart. The QDiamondJClub3Club flop kept Mizrachi in the lead with his pocket pair, but the 8Spade on the turn left Mizrachi with only 2 outs. The river was the 7Club and it was game over for Mizrachi, who received $218,000 for his runner-up finish.

well this is nice thing they have come up with, apart from giving the usual sack of money thy also gift you a new car, i think this can be a really good thing for those who are on the poorer side and qualifies via some cheap satellite- they come via public transport and then after winning the tourney take the sack of cash and hop into their new car to head back home safely...

The car is a nice bonus for the winner ... of course the best is cash, but also such a good car is also a very good prize ... my congratulations and he seems to me to deserve it ... I wonder who the realties of BRM will ever be among the big ones Winners?

Congratulations to Daniel Weinman on winning the the WPT Tournament of Champions. Congratulations also to Michael Mizrachi for his runner-up finish. Jesse Sylvia... Isn't he the second place finisher of the 2012 WSOP main event?
Audi S5 couple is a pretty fast car with great interiors, but I just don't like its front grille design. I would much prefer Dodge Challenger or Ford Mustang, the muscle car!

That river, always the river. getting called from high card with A hitting the river again.
We are losing a couple of cents like that and it hurts, imagine playing for 400k.
But of course in this case, why saying anything or get upset, with 200k in your pocket? Smile

Many congratulations to Daniel on winning this tournament and the first prize of $381,500. This final table was loaded with talent and he must have played very well to win this

I am not goid about remembering these poker pros but i heard about Michael Mizrachi, he is a good tournament player and often gets in the money, so no surprise that henwas at the final table again, mo luck in that final hand, he could easily double his stack and then who knows?

How the hell they award a 2018 car in the year of our lord and savior 2017? Do they build him a year in advance or do they roll it out from a car show which features the next seasons newcomers?

I think this is a very highly privilege thing to win this tournament of champions as the field is with only players who won at least one WPT tournament. Must be a superb feeling, congrats Dan Smile
